Hensley Consulting is a small, woman owned consulting company that provides consulting services for Affordable Housing Developers, Property Management Companies, and Owners.

Patricia Hensley
Founder and Principal Consultant
Patricia Hensley started in the Affordable Housing Industry in 2007 as an Office Assistant to an Austin based Developer. After discovering a love of compliance, Patricia joined the team at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. At TDHCA she was a Compliance Monitor and was a Trainer for all Affordable Housing programs monitored by the Department. Patricia took her love of compliance to another private Owner/Developer where she created a complete and very successful Compliance Department.
Patricia has experience with the Housing Tax Credit Program (HTC), The Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP), the Tax Credit Exchange Program (EXCHANGE), HOME Program (HOME), Housing Trust Fund Program (HTF) , Tax Exempt BOND Program (BOND), USDA Programs, and Project Based Section 8.
Patricia is also a certified Fair Housing Specialist and can assists with all reasonable accommodation/modification requests and Fair Housing complaints. Patricia has created easy to follow procedures to help protect Property Management companies from Fair Housing Complaints and possible lawsuits.
Patricia is very passionate about the affordable housing industry and has received the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders, the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association, the Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS) the Certified Voucher Specialist (CVS), and the Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) from the National Center for Housing Management, the Housing Compliance Manager of Rural (HCM-R) issued by Zeffert and Associates, and the Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) from the National Affordable Housing Management Association.
Patricia’s hobbies include photography, reading, and spending time with her children.
